Case Study

Drews Garth, Church Street

A new garage/outbuilding self-build. We worked closely with the client and their fabricator to assist on this project and ensure compliance with buildings regulations. This required the design of a timber ridge beam, (following initial optioneering this was split into two sections to enable lifting and construction on site). This had a mid-span support provided by a structural steel goal-post and upright arrangement. Various lintel designs were also provided to support door and window openings.
